Found the AlexxaCasas agency through a general Google search and I’m glad I did. This was me and my husband’s first visit to Cuba and were nervous about renting an independent home over staying at a hotel. The difference between this agency and AirBNB is that through WhatsApp I was instantly talking to Yausimí, the young lady who helped me with all my planning.
The selection process for the perfect rental for my husband and I started with a conversation with Yausimí. I explained to her we would be attending the show at the Club Tropicana and that we were looking for something close by with breakfast service. With the parameters provided to Yausimí, she paired us up with the perfect home and perfect host. In booking the house I was required to provide a down payment which raised a bit of concern as payment is done through a website I’d never heard of before.
Purely on gut and trust I made the payment (in full) and hoped for the best. I am glad I went through with it as Yausimí not only arranged the rental home she also arrange our pick up at the airport and was waiting to welcome us personally at the house. She is a trustworthy young lady who is so eager to genuinely help her clients and ensure a wonderful experience. We are planning on second trip to visit the east side of Cuba and will once again be working with AlexxaCasas. I am an extremely satisfied client and would recommend this agency to my family and friends.
Payment Method
Booked Casa Vega through AlexxaCasas. Initially I was really concerned with the payment method as it is done through a website I had never heard of before. Making a payment from the US to Cuba is challenging as in Cuba payment methods we are accustomed to like Visa and MasterCard are not in usage in Cuba. Because we really wanted to make sure we had our rental booked I went with my gut feeling and made the payment. The payment method is legit and we booked our rental without any issues.
